I might be a highly successful entrepreneur now, but just last year I was standing in your shoes. I knew that was not how life was meant to be lived, so I decided to make a change.
I wish I could tell you the change was instant…but it wasn’t. I wish I could tell you that I figured out a marketing system that worked for my service-based business and within a week I was making six-figures…but it didn’t really happen that way.
It took 20 months of painstaking trial and error to figure out the strategies the big names in online marketing were using to earn their millions.
Between January and October 2014 I researched and studied everything I could about marketing funnels and attended webinars hosted by all the biggest names in online marketing.
I guess I thought I could just mimic their strategies and I’d be golden. Big mistake! When I hosted my first webinar last year, well, let’s just say my borrowed-and-band-aided-together approach completely bombed. I was panic stricken. I’d done exactly what I’d watched all the marketing gurus do on my computer screen, so why hadn’t their approach paid off for me?
It took 3 months to figure out where I’d gone wrong but once I did, it was on.
In October 2014 I decided to give the online marketing game one last shot. I’d set aside just $100 to promote my newly revamped webinar where I’d be pitching my one-to-one holiday marketing service, and you know what?
